Total Rewards & Payroll Specialist

Your Challenge

As a Total Rewards and Payroll Advisor you will primarily be contributing to the implementation and execution of the rewards strategy and related activities. The focus of your role is to provide rewards and payroll expertise. Subjects as benchmarking and job grading will be part of your focus area, as well as labor law, social security- and wage tax law. You will be responsible for the implementation and execution of compensation, benefits and incentives schemes and you will be the driver for projects as the annual salary review process. You will be part of our Total Rewards & HR Operations team at HQ, based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.


What we’d like you to do

  • Provide advice on rewards topics.
  • Ensure that compensation and benefit policies are properly understood and consistently applied.
  • Conduct job analysis and evaluations, assess internal and external comparisons.
  • Participate in external salary surveys and internal equity reviews on an-ongoing basis.
  • Oversee job evaluation process to ensure consistency and integrity, provide guidance in writing job profiles.
  • Manage and support the annual compensation process (salary increase, STIP (bonus) LTIP (company stocks/shares) including liaising with the HR BP's.
  • Work with external vendors and brokers assisting in managing local employee benefit plans.
  • You are responsible for the monthly payroll of 7 countries, mainly within EMEA (approximately 400 employees), you take care of reporting and approvals and manage the information flow for annual payroll audits.
  • Be the specialist on (Dutch) wage tax, including special tax regimes (30% ruling), and have the possibility to interpret and work with foreign tax legislation for payroll processing
  • Work with accounting, legal, and tax departments to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with all regulations and (tax) laws, but also SOX
  • Support with Global Mobility cases; i.e. contact with vendors, request of permits, A1 declarations, 30% rulings, handling expat questions and setup of assignments

Requirements

Who you are

  • HBO+ level education in administration or other relevant fields
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll within EMEA (the Dutch payroll is a must)
  • Experience with working in an international environment
  • Experience with AFAS is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office software tools and advanced level of Excel
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch language, both spoken and written.
  • Solid knowledge of compensation and benefits and experience in the field of job evaluation and benchmarking
