Tax Manager

For our office in Den Bosch, we are currently seeking a Tax Manager to increase the capacity of our tax department. It is a broad tax position in which you will support the company on several international tax matters. As a Tax Manager you will be eager to take part in all kinds of tax projects (direct tax and indirect tax, tax compliance, transfer pricing, withholding tax, tax audits and tax accounting, etc.) and to learn on the job.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Participate in tax-related projects;
  • Liaise with colleagues of group companies. Proactively identify risks and opportunities, monitor and report tax positions;
  • Prepare tax returns (Corporate Income Tax, WHT) of group companies;
  • Assist in transfer pricing analyses and support annual transfer pricing documentation cycle;
  • Performing various tax compliance tasks (VAT; EU Listing; Intrastat).
  • Ensuring the optimization of VAT flows;
  • Support group companies in case of tax audits;
  • Support in testing and maintaining the tax control framework;
  • Support local finance managers on tax aspects of the business (incl. tax accounting) and provide training to finance managers;
  • Liaise with external tax advisors on all topics mentioned above.

Requirements

Which qualities do you bring?

  • Full-time availability (at least 32 hours);
  • Degree in tax law or tax economics and approximately 6 years of relevant tax experience in international corporate income tax, obtained as a tax advisor and/or an in-house tax specialist;
  • Broad tax interest (eager to learn more about other taxes than only VAT and Corporate income tax);
  • Good with numbers, including Excel skills;
  • Ability to coordinate international tax projects;
  • Solid understanding of tax accounting principles is considered a pre;
  • Pro-active, international focus, hands-on, flexible;
  • Good communication skills;
  • NOB Education/registration is considered a pre;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, with preferably good (basic) knowledge of the German language.
