Operations Risk Manager

Your team and responsibilities

The Operations Risk Manager, known internally as Operations analysts, works in the Operations- Risk Management, Forecasting and Demand Planning team. This team is led by the Head of Risk Management, Forecasting and Demand Planning. Together with the Commercial Planning team, we are the Operations department.

Our operations department is part of the foundation of our business, where the Operations Risk Manager plays an important role. The Operations department is responsible for global program risk management, forecasting and demand planning. The Operations Risk Manager acts as the analytical and critical counterpart for the program managers on loyalty program execution. The Operations Risk Manager reviews and approves program forecasts, sales-based analytics, and demand planning.

Next to this, the Operations Risk Manager ensures the numbers in our global sales forecast are accurate and up to date. Each Operations Risk Manager will have their own market(s)/countries to be responsible for.

Job responsibilities:

  • Responsible for program risk management in assigned markets;
  • Ensure reprojections are optimal to best reflect the interest of both BrandLoyalty and our client;
  • Limit financial, inventory and commercial risks in programs;
  • Ensure accurate sales and financial forecasting and reporting of our programs;
  • Challenge and be the bridge between National Sales offices, Supply Chain Management and Sourcing to ensure Operations Excellence.

Job tasks:

  • Analyse, review and approve program sales forecasts, delivery schedules and order planning;
  • Analyse weekly program performance data;
  • Review and approve reprojections and take corresponding steps to identify possible (financial, stock) risks in programs, alert relevant internal stakeholders, and push for actions;
  • Improve analytic methods and tools to increase efficiency and forecast accuracy;
  • Provide internal training.


What qualities do you bring?

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field;
  • Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus;
  • Good communication, negotiation and collaboration skills;
  • Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel skill is a must;
  • A critical and objective eye which helps you challenge stakeholders and make fair decisions;
  • Problem-solving - prioritising, decision-making;
  • Build strong international relationships;
  • Excellent in English language (verbal and written);
  • Experience in a dynamic and commercial role (ideally in an international organisation).
