IT Support Engineer

Would you like to be part of a dynamic international company and contribute to our first line of IT support?

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer at our Headquarters in Den Bosch. 

Within our growing IT department we have a dedicated team of 2 who are responsible for all our first line of IT support. Our IT Support Engineers are the first point of contact for all our colleagues seeking assistance in technological issues related to hardware, software, network technologies, mobile devices and applications at BrandLoyalty.


Your responsibilities

As IT Support Engineer at BrandLoyalty you:

  • Manage local incidents by providing the shortest repair time possible.
  • Solve incidents according to expectations of end-users.
  • Are able to translate IT issues in less technical terms in communication with end-users.
  • Analyze issues by finding the root cause and initiate required follow up.
  • Escalate to other solution groups and external vendors when their cooperation is required.
  • Are a good listener and an effective communicator to guide and support the end-user for the most effective use of IT-related devices.
  • You build a strong connection with local end-users and IT colleagues. Especially those from Functional Application Management and International Helpdesk as there is often collaboration in issue solving.
  • Are driven to deliver the most optimal end-user support experience together with the rest of the local support team.

You are a strong communicator and eager to solve IT-related problems for all your colleagues at BrandLoyalty HQ and remote offices (National Sales Offices) without local IT Support.

Requirements

What qualities do you bring?

  • 3 Years of working experience as a Support Engineer;
  • At least MBO 4 or higher;
  • Outstanding listening skills in Dutch and English and strong communication skills in general;
  • A positive, service-minded “can do” mentality;
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills;
  • A real problem solver with a passion for IT;
  • Windows 10, Office 2016, Office365, Mac OS X 10.x, and IOS 1x working experience.
