IT director

As part of the Global IT team, the IT Director is based in the s’ Hertogenbosch office and reports into our CIO/CISO of Loyalty Venture’s Inc in Dalles, America. In this position, you are responsible for managing BrandLoyalty IT operations. Beside managing the team, you are also responsible for improving processes, making the business more efficient and manage our vendors. You ensure that all IT services are maintained to a high standard and your team provides good quality day to day support to all of our colleagues.


Responsibilities;

Manages and coordinates company's IT function across sub-functions such as software / application development, infrastructure development, operations and end user support, data management and security to meet company's business requirements.

  • Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function's strategy and action plan and the broader organization's mission and vision;
  • Motivate the team to achieve local business goals. Oversee the Service Desk, IT infrastructure, and Security Teams. Set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project / account team members and hold them accountable for achieving these;
  • Lead the SAP team to improve business processes;
  • Contribute to the formation of a key element of functional strategy through specialist expertise and insights, to ensure that the strategy meets business needs;
  • Supplier management; Monitor, review, and highlight any gaps in the performance of a portfolio of suppliers to recommend and ensure delivery of improvements by suppliers or to renegotiate or change contract/supplier;
  • Operations management; Oversee an operational area with guidance from senior colleagues. Could involve responsibility for development or delivery (or both);
  • Manage the terminal technology strategy and roadmap. Determine the longer-term business information and technology needs and drive enablement using new technology;

What qualities do you bring?

  • 8+ years of experience with managing a team;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and strong understanding of relevant technology (SAP or Azure);
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to track, monitor, and drive project activities in an environment with competing priorities;
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills at all management levels, while managing stakeholder relationships and 3rd party suppliers;
  • A bachelor or University degree;.
  • Excellent communications skills in English;
  • Experience in process improvement projects;
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions;
  • Able to prioritize and manage projects and project portfolios, within the agreed budget;
