Insights Consultant

As an Insights Consultant, you will use insights to advise the APAC sales teams and their retail clients, to build revenue using loyalty. You are a strong storyteller to some of the biggest retailers in the industry, and a crucial part of a multi-functional team of marketers, portfolio managers, and digital specialists. In this role you are responsible for communicating the impact our loyalty solution has on our clients’ business, playing a key role in helping us build long-lasting relationships.

Your team and responsibilities

You are a subject-matter expert for interpreting a diverse range of data sources. Interpretation is just the start, as you consult the business on how to use these insights to answer some of our biggest business questions, while crafting stories that will inspire and excite our existing and potential clients. Success in the role is dependent on synthesizing knowledge derived from different types of learnings into coherent, credible, and easy to understand stories and data strategies told primarily through visuals and numbers.

  • Understands the drivers of loyalty and sales, both from a shoppers’ attitudinal and behavioral perspective.
  • Act as conduit between different insight sources and Sales Colleagues. Pulling out the most useful recommendations that will support Sales with client retail conversations.
  • Advise stakeholders on the analytic and insight strategies for campaign steering and evaluation, next to a wide range of internal long-term projects.
  • Strong understanding of market research principles and be responsible for managing market research projects across multiple APAC countries, both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Conduct research using primary & secondary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
  • Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reporting with strong commercial guidance.
  • Support process development workshops with subject matter experts, drive agreement on process flows across functional areas, and document processes and activity workflows to develop clear and detailed process maps.


Who are you?

  • 4+ years’ experience in insights and research, in a client-facing role
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, commercial and communication skills
  • Excellent in planning and organizational, and can commercially prioritize
  • Great interpersonal skills, takes proactive approach and is resilient
  • Can-do attitude; able to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
