Client Marketing Director

As Client Marketing Director you play a crucial role in helping our Asia Pacific retail clients to execute successful loyalty programmes across the globe. With your strategic view you are able to analyse information quickly and identify the retailers challenge. Together with the (local) sales manager and various internal departments you choose the right, standard or custom-made, loyalty solution for our clients.

With your background in (grocery)retail/FMCG marketing, activation and storytelling you are able to spot business opportunities, create client specific propositions and pitch presentations, that surprise and convince our clients to work with BrandLoyalty.

To deliver best-in-class pitch presentations and activation campaigns you are creative, persuasive and are not afraid to take the lead, internal and external.The Client Marketing Director is part of the Asia Pacific Marketing team and reports to the Head of Marketing.


Your team and responsibilities

  • Understand the strategy and brand values of our retail clients;
  • Create brand propositions that help BrandLoyalty achieve their business goals;
  • Work with our Sales teams to identify new business opportunities;
  • Create client specific campaigns, stories and pitch presentations;
  • Develop these around consumer insights by working closely with our Consumer Behaviour Insights (CBI) Department;
  • Develop on- and offline activation campaigns for all consumer touch points;
  • Brief and collaborate with the Art Director on bringing the Marketing campaign to life;
  • Project lead in various big pitch projects;
  • Present our campaigns and concepts in client meetings;

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, of which, 2-5 years experience within the grocery retail or FMCG sector;
  • A true marketing specialist – ability to think conceptual and from different stakeholders (consumer, retailer and business);
  • Always taking a consumer first approach;
  • Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented;
  • Creative storytelling and presentation skills (written and verbal);
  • Proven track record of creating customer specific propositions;
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills;
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • APAC experience
  • Is willing to travel up to 20% of the time within APAC
