Consumer Business Intelligence Manager

Deliver relevant and actionable insights to colleagues and C-level retail executives about the financial and operational impact of BrandLoyalty’s loyalty programmes.  The successful applicant will be able to build a compelling story using a combination of data sources (transactional, market research, social media etc.) for better business decision-making and programme design.


The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to work well with others and effectively communicate across different markets, cultures and levels of data sophistication
  • Translate complex analytical outputs in a relatable and impactful way
  • Have a commercial mindset to identify sales opportunities & risks
  • Be driven to continually improve their way of working and the CBI department 

Tasks & responsibilities 

  • Responsible for end to end management of analytics and ensure timelines are kept without impacting the sales process
  • Manage and deliver analytical reports and insights into loyalty campaigns and its effect on the business
  • Prepare and brief the sales team and clients on data requirements
  • Attending and present impactful data results at C-level/ Director level meetings
  • Become a trusted advisor with C–level & Director level retailers
  • Work across multiple levels within the organization, remaining commercial and flexible to meet market demands
  • Ability to adjust communication techniques for both internal and external audiences at multiple levels
  • Communicate and educate clients and internal sales and account management teams to develop the analytical capabilities of the business
  • Provide functional knowledge, expertise and consultation around data analytics
  • Challenging the way we do things; find simpler and more effective ways of working
  • Collaborate with the insights teams at HQ (Holland) to share success stories and case studies
  • Build relationships with 3rd party research agencies to broaden our view of the retail & consumer market



Who are you?

  • University degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Marketing/ Statistics/ Economics or a similar discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience at a commercial organisation undertaking analytics with management and C-level
  • Experience in retail, FMCG, consumer or loyalty an advantage
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Commercially astute mindset
  • An ability to communicate with Senior Management across disciplines
  • Fluent written and spoken English (advantage: Chinese and Korean)
  • Excellent knowledge of standard office software (MS Office & Tableau)
  • ‘Out of the box’ mentality
