Commercial Analyst - Den Bosch

The Analyst works within the pillar Operations- Demand planning and risk management team. This team is led by Global head of Demand Planning & Risk Management. Together with Consumer Business insights team and Commercial Business Planning team, Operations department reports to the Operations Director. The Commercial Analist reports into the Sr. Operations analyst.


Our operations department is part of the foundation of our business, where the Operations analyst plays an important role. The Operations department is responsible for global risk management, product approvals and commercial setup from loyalty programmes. The Commercial Analyst acts as the analytical and critical counterpart for the program managers and sales on loyalty program execution. The Commercial Analyst reviews and approves program forecasts, sales-based analytics.


Responsibilities;

  • First point of contact for a defined (set of) region(s), focussing on managing risk in the pre-contracted phase of the sales cycle within BrandLoyalty. You will be the contact person for your regional Sales Offices and sales managers before an offer will be made to our clients. 
  • Product approval in SAP for the requested products as a first step. Secondly, you will discuss the initial commercial offer with the Sales Manager by taking into account all angles. Lastly, you carry the responsibility of offer approval before it is allowed to be pitched to our clients.
  • Manage internally needs and the required input from stakeholders of the other pillars in order to be coherent with our internal objectives.
  • Work well in multidisciplinary teams with taking into account cultural differences. Within BrandLoyalty teamwork is of the essence in the daily operation; you will need to act as a sparring partner to sales managers, programme managers, sourcing managers etc. 

Requirements

What qualities will you bring?

  • College/University degree in applied Economics/business administration;
  • +2 years’ experience working in BI / Commercial Support function;
  • Excellent numerical/arithmetic skills for accurate analyses;
  • Next to analytical skills, you have strong communication skills;
  • Excellent in the English language verbal and written;
  • A commercial analyst and a risk manager;
  • You think in a process-oriented way;
  • Strong Excel knowledge is a must;
  • SAP is a pro.
